What I am attempting to perform:

  • I’m attempting to recreate Paper Mario’s “faux” shadow impact for my sport.
  • All the characters in Paper Mario have a sprite of a darkish circle that follows their character and scales relying on the character’s distance within the Y-axis.

What I’ve performed to date:

  • I’ve created a URP Decal Projector and made it a baby of my character so that it’s going to observe them. I’ve elevated the Projection Depth so that it’s going to nonetheless be in vary of the bottom when the character jumps.

What I would like help with:

  • I would like the decal resize to be smaller because the character is increased within the Y-Axis. Identical to the instance beneath:
